The Watsonville Public Works & Utilities department is celebrating Engineer's Week with their annual Egg Drop competition on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019.

Can you project an egg from breaking after being dropped 60ft?  To participate in this year's egg drop, build a container for your egg, and then come to the egg drop on February 20th. Registration for all containers begins at 3pm in the alley between the Civic Center building at 275 Main Street and the Post Office.

Rules for building the container are available on the web. You can build it on your own, come to the Environmental Science Workshop at Marinovich Park (120 Second Street), or come to STEAM at the Library from 3-5pm on Wednesday 2/6 & 2/13.
