The Watsonville Academy is a nine-week interactive program geared at giving participants an inside look at how local government operates. Sessions will be held every other Thursday from June 29, 2023-October 19, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will include dinner starting at 5:30 pm. All applicants must be 18 years of age and must reside, or own a business in the City of Watsonville. In order to gain a good understanding of how your local government works your attendance is important. Participants may not miss more than 2 class sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion. Space is limited to 25 participants and offered on a first come, first serve basis.
