WATCH OUT, WORLD | On Wednesday, June 28th we were visited by dozens of young leaders from the Watsonville Area Teens Conserving Habitat (WATCH) Program. They explored issues related to community development and housing, urban planning, environmental policy, and stormwater pollution prevention. Most significantly, they listened to the storied experiences, the trials and tribulations, the comedy and the struggles, the real life daily labor of love shared by our City Environmental Programs team.
Thank you to our energetic and inspired Stormwater Program Rainmaker Jackie McCloud, and longtime Watsonville watershed luminary Robert Ketley, for bringing your passion to life. We look forward to these students following in your footsteps (or mucky rain boot prints). Thank you, @montereybayaquarium for this incredible partnership.
