[ARCHIVED] WPD Sergeant graduates from prestigious leadership program

Sgt. Donny Thul

We would like to congratulate Watsonville Police Sergeant Donny Thul who recently graduated from the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute.
This leadership program is designed to stimulate personal growth, leadership, and ethical decision-making in California law enforcement front-line supervisors.
The intense program is based on experiential learning techniques. Students are challenged to learn new ways to resolve issues through group and individual work.
“I want to commend Donny for his hard work and commitment during this challenging 9-month program. The course work required during this program was in addition to Donny's responsibilities at home and at the office. Ultimately, the department will benefit from Donny attending this program as he will share the knowledge and leadership skills gained with other officers throughout the department," said Watsonville Police Captain David Rodriguez.
Congrats, Sarge!
