Current Request for BidsWatsonville Police Department Woman's Locker Room Expansion
Request for bids for the Watsonville Police Department Locker Rooms Expansion Project shall be submitted by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
The project consists of performing interior wall modification to allow expansion to the Watsonville Police Department men and women’s locker rooms within its existing building footprints at 215 Union Street in Watsonville. Tenant improvements includes but are not limited to metal wall and ceiling framing, electrical upgrades to existing and new locker rooms, drywall, tape and texture, interior paint, new lockers and new flooring. Other improvements include ADA restrooms upgrades, ADA upgrades to the existing exterior concrete ramp handrails and H.C. push buttons with electric door openers to five interior doors accessing the locker and restrooms facilities.

The Engineering Division is responsible for public works construction projects for the city. These projects include new construction, improvements and renovations of public buildings, parks and recreation facilities, streets, traffic signals, street lights, wastewater collection system, water systems and storm systems. Public Works improvement projects in excess of $175,000 are subject to formal competitive sealed bidding.

Beginning 2015-04-01, the City of Watsonville may only award public works projects to contractors and subcontractors that comply with the new Public Works Contractor Registration Law (SB 854). More information is available at the following links:

The City of Watsonville uses eBidboard, a web-based bid management service, as an electronic plan room. Potential contractors, subcontractors and suppliers may view current projects, register as plan holders, view the plan holders list, download plans and specifications, receive addendum notices and obtain bid results. This information is available free of charge.
