Men's Softball League

The City of Watsonville Parks and Community Services Department offers a men's and co-ed softball league in the Spring (March through June) and Summer-Fall (July through October). Contact Jenny Vivenzi at 768-3262, or for more information.

Summer/Fall 2018 Team Registration Information

  • League Play Starts Monday, July 23
    • Monday nights = D-5 
    • Tuesday nights = D-4
    • Wednesday nights = D-3
    • Multiple nights of play permitted:  Up to four (4) upper division players permitted per team, one division down.  Wednesday night players are eligible to play on only one Monday night team:  the "Free Agents" team (see Individual Registration below).
  • Location:  Ramsay Park Softball Field
  • Team Fee:  $600 (non-resident fee no longer exists)
  • "Early Bird" Registration Discount ($50 off) Deadline:  June 15
  • Registration Deadline:  July 6

Individual Registration

For those needing to register individually, there is the option of joining the "Free Agents" team in the men's division on Monday nights.  All levels welcome.

  • $50/person
  • Team meeting:  Monday, July 16.  7pm-8pm at the GHWR Youth Center (30 Maple Avenue)
  • Team practice:  Wednesday, July 18.  6:30pm-8pm at the Ramsay Park softball field

Bat Testing Information

Bat testing is available by appointment.  Please call 768-3262 to make an appointment.
  • Monday and Thursday:  9am-4pm
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday:  9am-6pm

Adding Players to an Existing Roster

Players may be added to rosters at the field with approval from league coordinator, Jenny Vivenzi.  Direct phone line is 768-3262.  Players may be added in office as well:

  3. Call 768-3262 to confirm the addition to the roster was received and approved.
