Computer Labs

Computer Lab Entrance
The Watsonville Public Library provides computers for public use on the 2nd floor of the Main Library, and at the Freedom Branch. You will need a library card or a guest pass to use the computers, and you must agree to the Library's Computer and Internet Use Policy. A Computer Lab Assistant is generally available in the afternoons at the Main Library to help you use the computers.

The Children's areas of both branches have computers loaded with educational games. These computers are available for half-hour sessions on a first come, first served basis. You don't need a library card to use the Children's computers.

Listed below are some of the software programs available on the Library's computers:
  • Microsoft Word (2007) - Word Processing / Typewriting / Simple Graphics
  • Microsoft Excel (2007) - Spreadsheet / Graphics / Charts
  • Microsoft Power Point (2007) - Create / Design Professional Presentations
  • Children's programs:
    • Educational games for children pre-K through 4th grade
