The City of Watsonville will be holding its General Municipal Election on November 6, 2018.
NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF CANDIDATE NOMINATION PERIOD
CITY COUNCIL MEMBER FOR DISTRICT 4 FOUR (4) YEAR TERM
All interested candidates must be residents and registered qualified voters of the City within District 4, at least thirty (30) days before the opening date for filing of nomination papers, July 16, 2018.

Early Voting Available Starting October 8, 2018!
The City of Watsonville will be offering early voting for Santa Cruz County Residents beginning October 8, 2018, through November 6, 2018, and will be open for voting on Election Day on November 6, 2018.
The City Clerk's Office serves as a Satellite Elections Office for the County of Santa Cruz and can issue ballots for registered voters. You may vote at:
Special Hours during Elections Week:
November 3 & 4 (Saturday & Sunday) open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
November 5 open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
November 6 open 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Pursuant to Elections Code §9295 a copies of the following resolution and ordinance calling the election are being made available for public examination at the City Clerk’s Office, 275 Main Street, Fourth Floor, Watsonville, CA 95076, and on this Website for a period of ten (10) calendar days. The public examination period ends on Tuesday, August 20, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.
Ordinance No. 1368-18 (CM): Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT)
Pursuant to the City of Watsonville Charter Section 403, in order for a person to be nominated for the office of Council Member, she/he must be a resident and a registered qualified voter of this City and the District of the City or of territory which the person seeks to represent thirty (30) days before the opening date for the filing of nomination papers.
