National Novel Writing Month Call for Writers

What is NANOWRIMO?


NaNowriMo is a nonprofit organization that provides tools, structure, community, and encouragement to people of all ages to challenge themselves to write a novel in a month. You can participate completely OR you can join our weekly writer support group that meets once a week virtually.

How to SIgn Up & Participate



Watsonville Public Library will be hosting a group for teens (ages 13-18) interested in working on their writing for Nanowrimo. 

1. Register for the program with the library
You will get information about the program, and a classroom code. 

2. Signup at the Nanowrimo site and make an account. It will ask you for the classroom code. 
3. Join the “classroom” for the Watsonville Public Library group. "WPL NaNoWriMo Writing Group"
(You will be sent this information after you register for the program with us, in step 1.) 

4. Participate in Zoom meetings (access information will be posted in the Nanowrimo classroom)

5. Write!

Participants in this virtual program are expected to follow and adhere to the library's Code of Conduct & Social Media Policy
