Watsonville Public Library Phased Reopening Plan

We are pleased to announce that the Main Library of the Watsonville Public Library will be opening for limited in-person services starting Monday, November 9th. Library open hours will be Monday through Friday from 2-6pm. In addition, we will be offering Telephone Reference services Monday through Friday 10am-6pm.

Nos da gusto anunciar que la Biblioteca Principal de la Biblioteca Pública Watsonville abrirá para servicios limitados en persona a partir del lunes, 9 de noviembre. El horario de la biblioteca será de lunes a viernes de 2-6 pm. 
Además, le ofreceremos el servicio de consulta por teléfono de lunes a viernes de 10am-6pm.

The Virtual Library remains available, open 24/7. 
Materials can still be requested for pick up during Curbside Hours, see information below for how. 

Placing Holds on items

We are now offering holds pickup/mailing ~ 
1. Place holds online or by calling 831-768-3404
2. The library will contact you once the items are ready for pickup during library open hours.
3. Item Limits:  30 items for pick up at the library, 5 items if you want them mailed to you.

Note: Pick up is available Monday - Friday 2-6pm at the Main Library. 
Your library card is required to pick up items. 

Limited Computer Use Available

► Computers have been spaced 6 feet apart and will be disinfected between each use. 
► Please visit the Service Desk to reserve a computer. 
► Computer sessions will be limited to 1 hour and printing is available for a cost of .20 per page.

Library Programs Are Offered Virtually via Zoom

Staff will continue to monitor the changing situation and adjust our response as necessary. Please check this website for up-to-date information concerning library services and closures.

Your Safety Is Our Top Priority

The library is performing extra sanitizing of all "high touch" surfaces, including computer keyboards and mice; and making hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes available. 

What we're doing to keep you safe
► Offering contactless holds pickup.
► Maintaining 6 feet of distance between each other.
► Wearing face coverings while inside the library.
► Following cleaning and disinfecting protocols put out by the CDC.

What we're asking you to do
► Do not enter the library if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are feeling unwell.
► Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library.
► Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others.
► Wear a face covering while inside the library.
► Follow all directional signs and floor markings.
