Notice! November 3, 2020 General Municipal Election

The City of Watsonville will be holding its General Municipal Election on November 3, 2020. The nomination period will take place between July 13, 2020 and August 7, 2020, to fill the vacancies in Districts 1, 2, & 6. Those interested in running need to be registered to vote within the district they wish to represent.

Public Examination of Candidate Statements
Pursuant to Section 13313 of the Elections Code, the City Clerk shall make a copy of the candidate statement available for public examination in the City elections official's office for a period of ten (10) calendar days immediately following the deadline of August 7, 2020, for submission of those materials. Original documents will be on public display at the City Clerk’s Office, 275 Main Street, Suite 400, Watsonville, and in the table below.

Candidates' statements are available for public examination for 10 calendar days immediately following the filing deadline for submission of those documents. During this period, any voter of the appropriate City District, or the elections official, may seek a writ of mandate or an injunction requiring any or all of the material in the statement to be amended or deleted.
