Strawberry Festival The 24th Annual Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 4 & 5, 2018. Enjoy this admission-free festival featuring live entertainment, arts & crafts, delicious strawberry treats and a family-friendly carnival. Spirit of Watsonville 4th of July Parade Come down to the City Plaza and celebrate the 4th of July at a good, old-fashioned parade! Parade entry forms are available at the PCS Customer Service Center (231 Union st) or on the parade website at www.spiritofwatsonville.org . All parade entries must register prior to the parade date. No registrations will be accepted at the parade.
Music in the Plaza The 2017 Music in the Plaza concert series consisted of six performances on the second and fourth Thursdays from June 22 through September 14. The concerts were held in the City Plaza from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and featured: Latin Banda, A Tribute to Santana, 80’s and More, Tropical Night, Motown/R&B Top 40 and Jazz. Stay tuned for the 2018 schedule.
Holiday in the Plaza This Multicultural Celebration & Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is an admission-free event open to the public. This year (2017) we featured a Holiday train for the kids to ride, multicultural food, a visit from Santa, activities for everyone, and live entertainment. Next year’s event will be advertised in the Winter/Spring Recreation Guide.
