Pavement Maintenance Project

The final (third) phase of this pavement maintenance project will begin on June 27th. The third layer will be applied, which is Type 2 slurry that locks in the rock to minimize damage from rocks being kicked up by vehicles.

Again, we realize this is an inconvenience for the community, especially for those of you being directly affected by this project.  We appreciate your patience throughout this pavement maintenance project that should be completed by July 5th, weather permitting.

You can obtain a list of city streets by downloading the file below:

This project was completed with funding ($250,000) from the 2010/2011 Rubberized Asphalt Concrete Chip Seal Grant from CalRecycle. A total of 10,297.50 waste tires were diverted, and a total of 168,298 square yards (8.6 miles of city streets) was paved using RAC chip seal material.
