Poets’ Circle welcomes Barbara Leon!

Barbara Leon lives in Watsonville, CA. She recently retired from her position as lead writer and editor for a vitamin and herb company. Her poetry has appeared in the Anthology of Monterey Bay PoetsCalyx (finalist, Lois Cranston Memorial Prize), ConsequenceCradle Songs: An Anthology of Poems about Motherhood; Crab Orchard ReviewManzanita, Paterson Literary Review(Editor’s Choice, 2005, Honorable Mention, Allen Ginsberg Award 2007), and Porter Gulch Review (Best Poet, 2004, 2012), among others. Her first poetry collection,  The Songbird Catcher, is published by Many Names Press, Capitola CA (2015).

Open mic for poets & musicians follows feature.
