World Wetlands Day!

Come celebrate World Wetlands Day here in Watsonville! Be part of a world-wide event by joining the effort to restore and protect this unique and valuable habitat. Learn about the wonders of our own fresh water wetland, its native plants and animals; and how they benefit our community. Community service credits available. Snacks provided.

If you’re interested, we will meet at Landmark Elementary School parking lot located at 235 Ohlone Parkway. Restoration site is across the street at Tarplant Hill.

BRING

Please bring water, layered work clothes, sturdy shoes, a sun hat and your friends and family. We provide tools, gloves, and a snack. No experience necessary, just a desire to learn about and protect this local hidden treasure.


OUR GOAL

To plant 2,000 plants!  We can do it with everyone’s help!
