Summer Reading Program

Research has shown that the amount of time children read outside of school is directly linked to their reading achievement. The more children read, the better prepared they are to go back to school in the fall. Readers are more confident and    successful as students.  However, the summer reading program isn’t just for kids, it’s for everyone! This year’s theme is Music, so we are looking forward to a rockin’ good time rediscovering why books are instrumental in all of our lives.   Whether you are modeling good reading habits to your children, or just interested in learning something new, there is no better time to gather, learn, and celebrate @ the Watsonville Public Library than this Summer!
