Watsonville Golf Driving Range Renovated

 Pacific Golf Center

Twenty years ago the City of Watsonville Municipal Airport acquired land to ensure safety zones would be guaranteed for the future. The safety zone addition included development of the Airport’s Golf Driving Range which became a popular recreational venue. Last July, the City of Watsonville leased this land to a private group, who invested over $300,000 in renovations to the property to create Pacific Golf Centers Watsonville.

Pacific Golf Centers will celebrate the reopening of the driving range in February. As operators of Northern California’s premier driving range and practice centers, PGC is dedicated to creating and maintaining a technologically advanced, fun, and accommodating facility. The 9.5 acre Watsonville location includes practice areas, Pacific Tap House (restaurant & bar), Pro Shop, and a teaching academy.

The renovated driving range and practice facility includes 34 synthetic turf hitting stations, 15 natural grass hitting stations, and 4 separate putting and chipping greens. Become a member to access this great new facility designed by renowned golf architect Jay Blasi. This 2.5-acre professional short game complex includes a 3,500 sq. ft. green and large greenside practice bunker.
