Thank You to All Who Volunteered at World Wetlands Day 2017

Students

Watsonville World Wetlands Day was a huge success with over 250 volunteers turning out to plant 1,700 plants along Upper Struve Slough trail (behind Nob Hill).

Alma de Mexico Mariachi Academy set the perfect mood with students ages 10 – 20 singing and playing their heart out, and looking so sharp!

The Watsonville Science Workshop, the California Conservation Corps (CCC), WATCH Monterey Bay Aquarium, Watsonville Wetlands Watch and community members showed up to make a difference on the trail.

Thanks to all who made this a spectacular day!
