Public Works & Utilities, Parks & Community Services and the Public Library are offering an array of fun summer activities for the entire family!
PUBLIC WORKS & UTILITIES
Nature Center Saturday Drop-In Program – Free activities for the entire family every Saturday in July from 12-3 p.m. Join us for art, science, games and live animals. Call 768-1622 for details.
Creeks to Sea Thursday Fieldtrip Program. FREE for Watsonville residents. Ages 7 – 12. Explore the outdoors in the forests, creeks and beach on a different field trip each Thursday in July & August. Call 768-3107 for details.
Wastewater Recycling Plant tours: Discover the Watsonville Wastewater Recycling Plant where over 1 billion gallons of water is treated every year to irrigate farm fields. Call 768-3107 for details.
Watsonville Environmental Science Workshop: Come tinker, build and explore science with us! Learn by having fun at the Watsonville Environmental Science Workshop. We have two locations for you to visit! Call 768-3256 for additional information.

Aquatics Program –Swim lessons, and drop-in recreational swim at Watsonville High School pool.
Camp WOW – Summer day camp offered at Ramsay Park Family Center, 1301 Main St. Each week will feature a different theme and trip to an exciting destination.
Get Out, Get Fit Camp – Get your youth moving onto a path to a healthier lifestyle. Participants will meet at the Gene Hoularis & Waldo Rodriguez Youth Center, 30 Maple Ave.
Music Together – Offered to infants, toddlers and their parents. Exposure to music & movement has the potential to make a dramatic impact on young developing minds. Callaghan Park, 225 Sudden St.
Engineering Class – Two engineering classes featuring the use of LEGO will be held at Callaghan Park, 225 Sudden St.
Gymnastics – Classes are designed to introduce participant to age appropriate motor and gymnastics skills. Classes held at Muzzio Park, 26 W. Front St.
Itty Bitty Sports – Register your toddler today for basketball, flag football and t-ball. Program will be held at Callaghan Park, 225 Sudden St.
Tennis Camps – Tennis camps for all ages will be offered at the Ramsay Park Tennis Courts!

Summer Reading Program –June 4th kick-off party at the Main Library from 12-2. This year’s theme is “Read for the Win!” Sign up between June 4th & July 31st. Activities include crafts, games, movies, teen events every Wednesday night, free books & activities.
Regular Programming – STEAM in the library, mystery reader’s book club, Spanish language conversation club and much more!
