Stormy Weather

Update – 5:04 a.m. – We now have had a break in the rain for the past hour and a half and things look good. Crews will go out this morning to clean up any debris washed up from the rains. The weather reports look like we have a day of scattered showers and that the worst is behind us. Along with the road clean up, we will also be looking for potholes that were created by the rains.

As of 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon to 9 p.m. Sunday evening water services had three crews working to clean the critical areas for flood prevention. As of 1:00 o’clock this morning we have received a lot of rainfall and have had major flooding on the blocks of Blanca Lane Vic roux and Atkinson as well as Marin Street. Water services on-call personnel along with fire department & collections division on-call have been addressing these issues.

Remember if you encounter a heavily flooded roadway, turn around, don’t drown!
