Open Streets Debuts Sunday, May 17th

Don’t miss Open Streets Watsonville (OSW), a FREE and family-friendly event that will take place this Sunday, May 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in downtown on Brennan and Union Streets, from Callghan Park (at Freedom Blvd.) to the City Plaza.

OSW will create a CAR-FREE pop-up street park for people to walk, bicycle and play in a safe and fun environment. The roadway will be temporarily closed to motor vehicle traffic and open to people for healthy recreation. In addition there will be free fitness, arts and music activities; educational outreach booths hosted by local community groups; and a FREE RAFFLE for all participants.

The goals of OSW are to promote physical activity, health, community and the City of Watsonville.
