Keeping Up With Watsonville

genefriendmuseumWatsonville Fire Department Gene Friend Museum (105 Second St.) – Museum offers an up close and personal view of the apparatus and equipment used during the history of the Watsonville Fire Department. Visits are available by appointment (768-3202).

Additional K9 Unit – As of November 5th, the Watsonville Police Assistance Fund has raised $3,095 of the $20,000 needed to buy an additional K9 unit. Officer Brian Fulgoni has been chosen to be its handler.

2015 Parking Permits – Available for purchase now at City Hall, 250 Main St.

FowleReservoirLandscapingFowle Reservoir Turf Replacement Project (Freedom Blvd.) – The plants selected for the site are natives and will only be watered for the first summer. The end result will be a demonstration native no-summer-water landscape.

Other Important Information


  • Most City services will be closed beginning December 22nd and will reopen January 5th. Essential services such as Police, Fire, Airport, Water turn-on and Garbage Collection will NOT be affected by these closures. During City closures you can pay your bill online, mail it, or drop it off at one of the 2 drop-boxes at City Hall.
