  • Toilet Retrofit Program – If you have a toilet that uses more than 3.5 gallons per flush (gpf ), it’s time to change it out for FREE! Call Central Coast Energy Services at 1-888-728-3637 to make an appointment. To check if your toilet is eligible, look inside the tank lid or behind the tank for a date stamp. Only toilets manufactured before 1992 or toilets that use more than 3.5 gpf qualify! If you have questions, call Customer Service at 768-3133.
  •  New Traffic Detection Cameras on Freedom Blvd – The new adaptive traffic signals all along Freedom Blvd. will improve traffic flow by reducing congestion, delays and vehicle emissions. The cameras will identify the presence of vehicles and bicycles and send the information to the new signal computer controllers. This will help distribute the signal timing of red and green lights based on demand instead of the current timed schedule they are on.
  • City Facilities will be Closed for Thanksgiving – City facilities will be closed November 24th-November 25th in observance of Thanksgiving. For non-emergencies or for water related emergencies call 471-1151. For health and safety emergencies please call 911.
