The Watsonville and Freedom Branch Library will be closed Saturday, December 21st through Saturday, January 4th.
The Main Library will reopen Monday January 5th and The Freedom Branch will reopen on Tuesday, January 6th.
All library materials can be returned in the book drops during the closure.
Essential services such as Police, Fire, Building Inspections, Airport, Water turn-on and Garbage collection will not be affected by this closure.
Most employees have forgone ten percent of pay in exchange for working fewer hours per week and having additional closure days during the holiday season. This was necessary to balance the budget as the City is experiencing declining revenues in this down economy. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you need assistance during this period of time, please call:
471-1151 for water turn-on or emergency service requests.
911 for health and safety emergencies.
