Green Gardener Certification Program

GreenGardenerClassesThis Green Gardener Certification – Basic (English and Spanish) program is a 10-week series that covers all aspects of ecological landscaping, including soil health, plant selection, efficient irrigation systems, pruning, and pest management.

Registration for this class includes a registration for the Demonstration Garden Lab at no additional cost. This class is suitable for landscape industry employees seeking Green Gardener certification. Students will receive 30 hours of bilingual, hands-on instruction in efficient irrigation systems and controller management, integrated pest management, installation and maintenance of drought-tolerant and California native plants, natural pruning, application of compost, mulch, and fertilizers, and more!

Classes are taught by local, licensed contractors and experts in each subject. Certified Green Gardeners receive discounts at local landscape supply businesses, and companies that employ certified Green Gardeners are promoted to the public by sponsoring water utilities and at
