Construction of Roundabout at Ohlone Parkway/Manabe Ow to Begin on 3/15/2016

On Tuesday March 15, 2016, Alston Construction and its main subcontractors Granite Construction and Don Chapin Company will begin construction of the new roundabout long planned for the intersection of Ohlone Parkway and Manabe Ow Road, the new public road which will provide access to the new FedEx Ground Sortation Facility under construction next to Highway 1. Construction of Manabe Ow Road will proceed with the start of the roundabout.  Construction of the roundabout will be performed in two stages so a half of Ohlone Parkway will be paved and two lanes of traffic will be open to the public at all times.   It is estimated that the work for the roundabout and new road will be completed during the month of June this year.
