The City of Watsonville will be using zinc epoxy ductile iron pipe on the 1,800-foot stretch of College Road from Cutter Drive to Lakeview Road and will be the first time such a product has been used in California. The project should be completed in March, weather permitting.

The City of Watsonville is committed to providing our community with a safe and reliable water supply. In order to better serve you, we are continually upgrading and replacing our water lines.

What will be done?

Beginning November 17th, the Water Services Division will construct the College Road Water Main Replacement Project. This work will be located on College Rd. from Cutter Dr. to Lakeview Rd. This project will consist of installing 1,200′ ft. of 8″in. ductile iron pipe, new isolation valves, fire hydrants and new domestic services as needed. The estimated length of the project is 12-weeks (50 working days).

There will be no planned disruptions to your water service.
