Coastal Cleanup 2015 Results for Watsonville Area

On Saturday, September 19th, 286 Watsonville volunteers picked up 1,870 pounds of trash and 863 pounds of recycling from our Pajaro River, the Watsonville Sloughs and Palm Beach for Coastal Clean Up.

Mayor Pro Tempore, Felipe Hernandez, who volunteers with Coastal Cleanup every year reminds us, “As community residents we have to be both stewards and caretakers of our environment. We have these precious natural resources and it is up to us to keep them clean.”

Thank you to all who volunteered!
