Caltrans Maintenance Project in Watsonville
As per a News Release from Caltrans
Pavement Overlay Project on Highway 152 Along Watsonville
Caltrans crews began roadwork on Monday, May 4th on a two-mile pavement overlay project along Hwy. 152 from the Hwy. 152/Hwy. 1 separation to Holohan Road in Watsonville.
Roadwork consists of alternating lane from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed 15 minutes. Work is expected to be complete by the end of July.
The purpose of the project is to improve roadway smoothness and extend the service life of the pavement. VSS International from West Sacramento, CA is the contractor for this $800,000 project.

Caltrans also began a maintenance project on Monday, May 11, 2015. This week the contractor is milling out limited sections of failing pavement and filling with AC. They will come back at the end of the month to microsurface the entire street.
