20th Anniversary of the Watsonville Strawberry Festival

The Watsonville Strawberry Festival will be held in downtown Watsonville on August 2nd and 3rd.  This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the event! The event serves as a fund-raising opportunity for 18 non-profit community organizations.  Strawberry Lane is the heart of the Festival featuring delectable strawberry treats offered by local non-profit organizations. The Festival also features live entertainment, a family-friendly carnival, and a variety of food, arts & crafts and commercial product vendors. Be sure and check out all of the non-profit informational booths in the City Plaza. A “Made in Santa Cruz County” booth debuts this year featuring a variety of products made in Santa Cruz County, including a special edition strawberry jam. Strawberry Festival souvenirs, which feature the new Festival logo designed by local artist, Priscilla Martinez, are now available at the Parks and Community Services Department customer service office and will also be available at the Festival. Visit www.celebratestrawberries.com  for more information about the festival and to see all of the souvenirs available.
